What is the True Way of God?
What is the True Way of God? How do we come into right standing with Him? What message does He truly present through the messengers whom He has sent? These are some of the most important questions to answer in our quest to know about God and His grand plan of redemption. To discover these answers, we offer this great audio series known as The Way of Righteousness. This program covers the biblical history explaining how God would reconcile the world to Himself, focusing on the prophets and main stories in the Bible, and ultimately pointing to the person of Jesus Christ. We hope that this resource would prove to be a useful tool to better understand the true purpose and message of God’s prophets, and the One of whom they speak.
About The Way of Righteousness (TWR) Series:
“The Way of Righteousness series [is a transcript of] one-hundred 15-minute radio programs first written in the Wolof language for the Muslims of Senegal, West Africa. With Islam’s perspective of God, man, sin and salvation in mind, The Way of Righteousness chronologically presents the key stories and central message of God’s prophets according to the Bible. All one-hundred programs are interconnected, yet each stands alone – challenging the listener to consider God’s righteous way of salvation.” – ROCK International Website, Creator of TWR
Why Chronologically? The following is a good explanation for why learning about these stories chronologically gives us a bigger picture of God’s grand story:
“Have you ever bought a new novel, ripped out the chapters, reordered them, and then tried to read the novel as a story? Could you imagine the frustration? Such an approach makes no sense with a novel, but we have adopted this very method when we study the Bible . . . What if you could discover a storyline to the Bible and see it as one story? Discovering the chronological story of the scriptures reveals God’s nature, character, and ways. Knowing the big story of the Bible helps us know God as He has revealed Himself through scripture so that we might live with hope as we take our place in the Story.” – Chronological Bible Teaching
The following is an excerpt from the first episode of TWR:
“Which way are you following–the way of righteousness or the way of unrighteousness? Do you want to know the way of righteousness that comes from God? The Word of God says, ‘Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.’ . . . Nothing is more important than to know for sure that you are in the way of truth that leads to God.”
